🚀 My Dream Project: Building a Multi-Purpose Smart Robot & GPS-Guided Bus (Since 2023)

Since 2023, I’ve been working on a Multi-Purpose Smart Robot and GPS-Guided Autonomous Bus — a project that combines robotics, GPS navigation, automation, and IoT.
This project has grown from a small idea into a dual-mode robot with autonomous navigation and joystick control, designed to inspire innovation in Sri Lanka.
🤖 Project Overview
My robot works in two modes:
🚗 Mode 1 — Autonomous GPS Navigation
The robot moves automatically using GPS waypoints, entered via a custom ESP32 web server interface. It can:

Avoid obstacles with smart sensors

Sound a buzzer horn while avoiding obstacles
-
Show animated real-time movement on a web interface
🎮 Mode 2 — Manual Control & Auto Docking
With a Magic bit joystick controller, I can manually drive the robot. It also has IR sensors for auto-charging, guiding the robot to its charging dock automatically when needed.
💔 Challenges & Urgent Needs
Even though I’ve made significant progress, the project faces some serious challenges:

Damaged components due to power issues

GPS module unable to connect to satellites properly, needing replacement

Motors for speed and performance need upgrading
-
Additional parts and ideas must be added to complete the final prototype

High costs of electronics and parts in Sri Lanka, making it impossible for me to finish without support
I’ve been self-funding this project since 2023, but now I urgently need help to replace damaged components, upgrade parts, and finalize the complete project.
